IBPS invites applications for the next Common Written Examination as a pre-requisite for selection of Clerical cadre posts in the Participating Organisations listed below will be conducted online tentatively in December 2017 & January 2018.
Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join Public Sector Bank as a Clerk or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the CWE Clerks – VII. Candidates who appear and are shortlisted in the examination, will subsequently be called for a Common Interview by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by IBPS.

I) Eligibility Criteria (As On 01.09.2017)
i) Age Criteria: Minimum 20 years – Maximum 28 years
i.e. a candidate must have been born after than 02nd September 1989 and before 01st August 1997 (both dates inclusive)
Upper Age Relaxation Limit applicable for SC / ST / OBC candidates is allowed on cumulative basis.
ii) Educational Qualifications: Candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
Computer Literacy: Applicant should have working and operating knowledge in computer systems, and a certificate in computer operations.
II) Written Examinations
The Written Exam will comprise of a 2 stage process – Preliminary Exam & Main Exam. Both these exams will be conducted through online mode.
As mentioned earlier, the 2015 IBPS PO Exams shall follow a two stage process –
Preliminary Exam – There will be 100 questions that should be answered within 1 hour. Cutoffs would be fixed for each section & also for the total score, which you need to secure. The structure of the exam which will be conducted is as follows.
Please Note: Candidates who qualify in the preliminary test will only be eligible for main examination.
Main Exam – There will be 200 questions that should be answered within 2 hours. Candidates must achieve the cutoff scores (section-wise & total) to be called for common interviews.
ii) Penalty for Wrong Answers
One fourth or 0.25 of the marks will be deducted as penalty for each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate
If a question is left blank, there will be no penalty for that question.
Score Calculation : The corrected scores (correct answers – negative marks) obtained by each candidates will be normalized using equipercentile method.
Please Note – Mobile Phones, Calculators, Pen Drives, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Health Band etc are not allowed inside the examination premises.
Total marks allotted for Main Exam are 200, marks will be converted out of 100 for Provisional allotment. A candidate must qualify in the Common Written Exam – Main Examination and be sufficiently high in the merit to be considered for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IBPS website.

How to Apply :
Online (from 12th Sept – 03rd Oct) : Candidate can visit IBPS website & click on the online application to fill the necessary details. After form submission, you would be directed to the online fee payment gateway. Pay the appropriate fee amount using online payment option, after completing the transaction, print the generated e-receipt
On successful submission of application, a registration number & password would be shown that has to be noted.
