Greater Bombay Bank Recruitment 2013 – Chief Manager / Branch Head / Relationship Manager / Treasury Dealer / Manager IR Mumbai

The Greater Bombay Co-operative Bank Ltd, also known as Greater Bank, was founded over five decades ago on 10th December 1952. It is a dynamically growing, scheduled urban co-operative bank and currently has job vacancies for the following positions:-

1) Chief Manager / Asst General Manager – Legal & Recovery
Qualifications : LLB / LLM from recognized University
Experience : Minimum 10 years.
Age should be upto 50 years.

Job Description :
i) Conclude all the legal cases filed against defaulting borrowers. Advising on all legal issues, Filing recovery suits/cases in various courts, drafting agreements – Loans & Advances, mortgage and consortium finance etc.
ii) Should be well conversant with section 101 proceedings. Knowledge of Execution of Recovery Certificate.
iii) Should be Conversant with Court procedures & Liasonsing with Advocates / Solicitors & Govt. Bodies & various other authorities.
iv) Through knowledge of Drafting of Plaint, Written Statement, Notice of motion, Complaint, Notices, Reply, Revision Application, Application U/s.101.
v) Attending various Court & Tribunals.
vi) Capable of independently handling Court/Recovery matters.
vii) well Versed with MCS, Act & Rules, Civil Procedure Code, DRT Act, SARFAESI ACT, RTI ACT, Cr. P.C, Negotiable Instrument Act, Consumer Protection Act, Banking Regulation Act, Transfer of Property Act etc.

2) Job Title : Branch Head
Qualifications : Minimum Graduate with CAIIB.
Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Job Description :
Key Deliverables: Achieving Branch sales and revenue targets. Source new low cost deposits and sell Assets, Liabilities, Third Party Products to the existing customers and prospective customers. Focused on customer service to exceed expectations.
Responsible for dealing with Bank’s External / Internal Auditors & Inspections, Team Development, Cost Management, Revenue Generation, ensuring adherence to KYC/AML norms, compliance of statutory and Bank’s laid down policies.
Key skills required: Analytical, Selling, Problem Solving, Interpersonal and Communication.

3) Job Title : Relationship Manager / Asst Manager – Credit
Qualifications : CAIIB, candidates with MBA / CA / ICWA degree will be preferred.
Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Job Description :
Key Result Areas:
Delivering the agreed business plan for commercial loans. This includes delivering budgeted profit and achieving targeted asset level, building a robust pipeline of proposals, managing asset quality and arresting any asset quality slippages, achieving budgeted fee based revenue etc.
Key to this is developing account management plans and managing relationships proactively to pre-empt excessive upward delegation for routing decisions.
Maintaining asset quality on the vulnerable accounts in the portfolio and establishing a process for an ongoing credit monitoring to pre-empt surprises.
Establishing and delivering high standards of compliance.
Key skills required: Analytical, selling, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

4) Job Title : Treasury Dealer
Qualifications : Graduate and Additional Qualification – CA / MBA are desirable.
Age : 30 – 40 years.

Job Description :
Experience: Minimum 5 years in similar area.
Strong in Money Market Operations.
Overall Management of Treasury Operations as a Profit Centre.
Strategic Management, Monitoring and Forecast of interest rates.
Knowledge of investing in CBLO, Govt. Securities, Commercial Paper, Certificate of Deposit, Call Money, Repo, Mutual Funds, Fixed Deposits etc.
Optimum Utilization of resources in managing Treasury Function
Monitoring of SLR and CRR

5) Job Title : Manager – IR
Qualifications : Graduate with MBA
Qualifications : Graduate with MBA, additional qualification – candidates with LLB degree will be preferred.

Job Description :
Experience: Minimum five years in similar area.
Responsible for reviewing investigation reports, disciplinary / court cases and other vigilance complaints/cases and for taking necessary steps for expediting action in the matters.
Shall initiate investigation in cases of misconduct on the part of employees and submit related reports to management for further course of action.
Responsible for investigating irregularities and initiating disciplinary action against the same.
He/she shall devise and adopt appropriate methods to collect information about any malpractice and misconduct among the employees or in the prevailing practices of the Bank.
Review of cases entrusted to Police/ SFIO / Courts / Enquiry Officers.
Close liaisoning between the law enforcement authorities and the administrative authorities.
